Paige Pipakis
Hello beautiful mummas, I’m excited help you along your pregnancy journey through to your birth and into 4th trimester. I myself am a mother to two beautiful boys. So I have been where you are. Becoming a parent or adding to your family brings change on every level, and seeking appropriate assistance and support allows you to fully enjoy this magical time. Having a doula attend birth has been used by many traditions and cultures for a great number of years. The ancient Greek word, “Doula” translates to “a woman who serves”. A Doula offers support to you, your partner/birth support person, and your baby – before, during and after birth.
I have worked in the medical industry for 10 years and currently studying to become a midwife. I studied with the Australia Doula Collage as a Birth and Postpartum Doula and I am a qualified Hypnobirthing Australia™ | Hypnobubs™ practitioner and I am certified in the mental health of infants and postpartum mums.
I am passionate about helping women overcome any fears of childbirth and helping to create a positive and empowering experience provide support to mums and their support partners during pregnancy childbirth and throughout their postpartum journey.
My aim is to help mums better understand the processes and offer assistance to both mum and their support partners during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum stages. For me, being a doula means showing up for someone who needs you. It’s not just meeting them at where they’re at; It’s a zero judgement space, it’s a holding space, it’s providing support, it’s offering encouragement, information,
and presence. Advocating for woman and their rights is my passion. I’m excited to work with you and support you in the way you need.
